Rustek

Portaland, OR

Rustek make’s everything they can in house, by hand, in their mobile shop trailer. As a part of our commitment to nature & the outdoors they only source wood from FSC certified sources and use exclusively responsibly sourced, renewable natural textiles. The leather, wool and cork they use for their products are sourced from cruelty and chemical free sources.

The Rustek Topo 20oz Wide Mouth Bottle is engraved with a topographic map created from the US Geological Survey of Mt. Rainier, the tallest, most formidable and most dangerous stratovolcano in the contiguous US.  The bottle is wrapped with real Cherry or Walnut wood from FSC certified sources, and they plant a tree for every sale.

Hand built in the U.S.A, the Duckworth Snowcrest Shirt-Jacket is worth the premium price tag.  The 21oz lightly flannelled wool cloth is crafted from 100% Montana Merino Wool.  It’s blend of style, durability and functionality, make the Snowcrest Shirt-Jacket is an extremely versatile piece, but it stands out in cool or cold temps as a heavyweight shirt or jacket.

Coalatree

Salt Lake City, UT

Coalatree designs eco-minded gear and apparel for the adventurer in everyone, from athletes and photographers to your average city folks and weekend warriors.  They may be best known for their legendary camping hammocks, but their apparel collection has expanded in recent years to include some awesome options.

Each year they use surplus fabric to create warm blankets for the homeless in their hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah. They also partner with local organizations to maintain the hiking and biking trails we frequent and to protect the integrity of local watersheds.

The Coalatree Slim-Fit Trailhead Pants raised over $400,000 to become Kickstarter’s highest funded outdoor pant. Durable, smartly built, and ridiculously comfy.  They feature eco-friendly DWR finish, which not only repels water, but makes stains and spills bead right off, while maintaining all-season breathability.

Eukarya

Walnut Creek, CA

Last but not least, Eukarya builds high performance outdoor tools and equipment featuring classic natural materials. Their range of hardwood constructed headlamps are the flagship of their catalog, but they’ve begun to branch out to other products.

Eukarya’s commitment to sustainability drives them to minimize the use of petroleum-based plastics, single use batteries and harsh chemicals.  They bring together precise engineering and natural elements, while constantly exploring new ways to disrupt the norm in outdoor products.

The Eukarya Origin Headlamp is compact and powerful. It’s designed with machined aluminum and zebra wood. The proprietary optical design and ultra-strong tempered glass face achieves powerful and evenly distributed illumination.

Best of all, it packs a robust 300 lumens and still weighs in under 3oz.
